Hybrid aspherical lens elements for edge to edge sharpness in any lighting condition. Scratch resistant coating on exposed lens elements. Fully waterproof and fogproof, nitrogen filled, submersible to 1 meter. Helicoid 4 stop eyepiece ring for comfortable eye relief. Phase-coated roof-prisms for a sharper view. lightweight magnesium frame. Fully multi-coated lenses for increased light transmission. Inner-focus optical design. Protected by a limited lifetime warranty.

        I just received these binoc's to fill in the gap while I have my Zeiss Diafuns fixed. I hunt and carry enough supplies to stay out all day, sometimes in very inclement weather. My first impression was that they are a bit on the heavy side for a small overall size. Purchased for the waterproof capabilities and compact size. The clarity is "very" good but will have to see how well they work in low light conditions. I'm very partial to Zeiss products, since the economy has tanked, I had to go to a lower cost binoc to fulfill my needs, hopefully the Pentax brand will prove a winner. So far, so good!

          I've owned half a dozen pairs of binoculars; these are the finest, by far. Clear, with superb sharpness and accurate color. I like close focus and wide field of view for birding. Steve complained of fogging up. That was his fault, not the fault of the binoculars. By keeping them under his jacket he had not allowed them to reach ambient outside temperature. These optics do not fog internally! These compare very favorably with binoculars twice their price.

          I bought these binoculars early this year and the clearity is remarkable; however, during the late turkey season, I had them hanging around my neck, inside my jacket, when I took them out and put them up to my eyes....they became fogged up. Besides the FOGGY part, these binoculars are great!!!
