    I have the 10X42 as well, was so impressed that I bought the 8X42s. These are tops for hunting! I tried to point out a cow elk to my hunting buddy. It was obvious to me, but invisible in his Nikon Monarchs. I think it might be because colours just pop in these glasses. They are brighter than my older Lietz trinovids, which is amazinig as they are 7X50s!!

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
