Description

The new Nikon MONARCH 5 All Terrain Binocular couples bright, high-resolution optics with legendary ruggedness in a package that is light enough to carry all day. Incorporating Nikon’s exclusive Eco-Glass (made without the use of arsenic or lead) for all lens and prism elements, the Nikon MONARCH 5 features phase-corrected, dielectric high-reflective multilayer prism coatings for extreme brightness, superior sharpness and incredible low light performance. The tough, full rubber armored body is O-ring sealed and nitrogen purged for waterproof, fogproof reliability.

          The Image quality of this binocular is very good. the image is clear and one can see distinct sharp colors while watching birds and other objects. while observing one can see natural colors.

          The performance of this binocular is good in very low light condition. In very low light condition objects around 100 meters cannot be seen properly but in this binocular the image is better than naked eye.

          This binocular also gives good image during sky observation for amateur astronomers. The image of moon is clean. It also gives a good view of Messier Objects.

          Overall this binocular is good as the image has low noise.
          I am very satisfied with this binocular.

            You'll like these Binocs.... However, it would be helpful if the diopter adjustment ring had a larger indicator mark (I rarely carry my reading glasses when "adventuring") A larger indicator would also allow you to check its location in the dark. I guess I should be talking to Nikon.

            I use it for wildlife observation mostly. I like the clear easy focus and the ability to lock adjustments to my settings. It is a bit bulky compared to the compact glass I had before, but the quality image is worth it.
