Q1: What type of memory card does it use?

A: It uses an SD memory card.

Q2: Does it take the pictures at the magnification? I understand that many are similar to cameras and do not take the picture at the magnification that the binocular provides.

A: The pictures are taken just a bit under the 8x so it works out to 7.35x the naked eye for the picture itself. It of course does have a digital zoom option

Q3: Can these be tripod mounted? If not, are there similar binoc/digicam products which are used with a tripod?

A: Yes these have a threazd mount in the base of the binocular for tripod adaption

Q4: Will you send to Canada by U.S. postal service?

A: Yes, we'll ship via USPS to Canada. However, you should know that we do not take responsibility for a USPS shipment after it leaves our warehouse. In the event the shipment is lost, we'll file a claim for you, but that claim can take months to resolve, and you would be without the item until resolution takes place.

Q5: Does the LCD screen flip up for viewing while you are focussing ? Thanks
