    I'll use these Bino's for Deer and Duck hunting. 8x42 has wide angle views and really clear,phase coated glass...should have ordered the bino harness w\them. But took care of that when I got my hands on them.I believe Leupold makes some of the best Binocular's there are!

      I have a vacation planned to the Grand Canyon this summer and wanted lightweight/compact binoculars to take with me on the trip. I started shopping at one of the "Big Box" stores and saw the Leupold Acadia units there and liked what I saw, however the 2 young men there did not seem to care if I bought anything there....so I left. I went to the internet and binoculars.com where I viewed several videos that gave me the necessary information to make my decision on buying the 8 x 42 Leupold Acadia. As I have not used them yet, I feel confident they will fit very well into my planned vacation. Even without talking to anyone in person at binoculars.com, the information provided on their products was excellent and helped me to make a buying decision...[...]

        I purchased Leupold Acadias at Cabelas this week for hunting deer and turkey on my farm. I wanted some relatively inexpensive glasses ~[$] but high quality optics. These clearly fit the bill for me. I've already used them in thick cover "swale holes" as well as glassing over a long distances. I consider long distances for hunting over 500yd. I had the ability to clearly see turkeys going to roost across a field at dusk ~ 25acres away. I could also clearly count points on bucks racks at ~300yds. For something you can beat up a little and not worry about banging around like a $1,000 set of optics I would recommend anyone seriously consider them.
