Quality optics are fully coated for bright, crisp images, and ergonomic, rubber armoring provides durability and a slip-resistant grip, even for gloved hands.

Ideal for spectator sports and wildlife observation, Bushnell 7x35mm PermaFocus binoculars offer the ultimate in value and convenience.

Note: Focus-Free binoculars are designed for viewing distant subjects.  The close-focus limit is subjective and dependent on the user's eyesight.

I'm a season ticket holder to Warriors Basketball games and bought these binoculars specifically for NBA and football games. What attracted me to try this model are the ratings, permafocus, and wide angle field of view. It gives you more of a panaramic view with the 578/1000ft FOV, to catch most of the action on the playing field, where most of the other binoculars concentrate on a smaller area, where you loose most of the feel of the game. You don't have to fumble around focusing, and for the price, you can't go wrong. Yes there are many binoculars that are better for magnification, quality, and clarity, but are very expensive and don't offer the auto focus capabilities and FOV which is the key feature of these binoculars. I highly recommend this model for sports and will buy the same pair if ever my pair is lost or broken.

Comments about Bushnell 7x35mm PermaFocus Focus-Free Wide-Angle Binoculars:

As an on-water crew referee, I have to identify small boat numbers as crews approach the start (head races) and cross the finish line (sprints and head races). Auto-focus feature is invaluable, as I need to see quickly and then put down binoculars to record what I saw.

              Customer Q & A

Q1: Buying for my wife--she has difficulty focusing so thought these would be easier for her. However she wears glasses--are these "glasses friendly" or do you have some other PermaFocus light weight that would be better?

A: These should be just fine for her. The ones that might be a bit better in the eyeglass section are not as light as these are. If you are looking for the lightest, best binoculars for an eyeglass wearer in a PermaFocus, you have made the right choice.

Q2: What are the dimensions of these?

A: The dimensions of these are approximately 6 x 5 inches.

Q3: What is the rating system of binoculars? Which is the most powerful. What do the first and second numbers mean ( 7X35)?

A: Binoculars are rated according to magnification and aperture. The first number is the "power" of the instrument, and the second number is the size of its objective (big) lens. The objective lens size is important as an indicator of light-gathering ability. The larger the lens, the more light it admits and the brighter the images will be, especially in low-light conditions.

              Q4: Are they water proof?

A: The Bushnell 7x35 PermaFocus Focus-Free Wide-Angle Binoculars are not waterproof.
