My wife and I have become intermediate birders, and the time had come to upgrade our binoculars. After careful searching, I chose the Zhumells and after a few months of use, could not be any happier. They are much lighter than our previous 7X50s, and offer a terrific close-focus range that really comes in handy. They've accompanied us on trips to Starved Rock in Illinois, and throughout the National Parks of southern Utah and Arizona. We love the optics, and the solid build quality. We haven't fully tested the waterproof capabilities advertised by the manufacturer, but everything else is stellar. Speaking of which, I have pointed these upwards at night, and the optics are quite good for star gazing as well.

I owned a pair of Yukon binoculars which I really liked. The Zhumell 8x42 Signature Waterproof Binoculars replace the Yukons. The Zhumells seem quite a bit heavier. I also prefer the lens covers on the Yukons. They simply flip down when using the binos. The Zhumells are solid and clear and I'm sure they'll last for years.

Comments about Zhumell 8x42mm Signature Waterproof Binoculars:
I haven't used the binoculars yet because they were given as a gift to a friend. A few of us had spent a week at her home in Florida, enjoying the bird watching, so we thought this the perfect thank you!
