I mostly use these binos for wildlife viewing. They are OUTSTANDING in optical quality. They work well with glasses. They focus quickly. The only downside is they are heavy and bulky.I purchased Butler Creek Flip scope caps (44OBJ size) to cover the objective end since Leica doesn't see fit to include caps on [$] binoculars. I also use the crooked horn bino harness which comfortable holds these monsters at your chest.It is very difficult holding the image steady on 15 power. I will lean against something and that helps but they are still shakey. The included tripod adapter works very well but I am mostly either walking or driving to spot wildlife and the tripod is not convenient.I have absolutely no regrets spending this much on binos. I figure I bought the best and it only hurts once. They are a lifetime investment. If I had bought a cheaper pair I would always be wondering what the Leica's are like.

Purchased these a few months ago and have been both to sporting events as well as bird-watching. Their flexibility of magnification, ease-of-use, and light capture make them unparalleled --perilous to let others borrow them as you will not get them back! case is not padded but given the bulk if it were, they would be more cumbersome to carry. Their weight may be an issue for long events but the optics are mesmerizing. This is the third Leica/Leitz pair that I have owned and the earlier versions are wonderful but become a compromise after using these.

By its quality of mechanical construction and his �ptica.He observed through the great marks of prism binocular of the present market and I arrived this conclusion. Other considerations as the weight or its design I do not consider them at the time of recognizing an image are this of animal or landscape. When I am about to spend a lot of money on a pair of binoculars I take my time and appraise them with an objective, discerning head, considering all aspects of my prospective purchase.

I did this with the Duovid and concluded they were the best pair of high-powered bino's I have ever looked through.

Although they are weighty, they feel very balanced and easy to hold. Picking them up to look at something quickly was a smooth and swift operation, and once in position they felt snug and secure. The build quality is excellent and they look sheer class. The size belies the power, they were much smaller than I had imagined, very streamlined, and did not look at all hefty around my neck. Another nice touch is the tripod adaptor, again this is high quality and does the job splendidly.

The image quality is superb, although not the best I have seen, if you want to 'cherry pick' the Swarovski EL,s have just the edge. The focus of near to objects is also very good

On the higher setting, I was unable to steady them enough to pick out the fine detail of an object, but resting my elbows on something gave me the support I needed and the detailed image was then breathtaking.

I am delighted with this buy, if you want a high-powered pair of binoculars and can stomach the cost, then these optical marvels are for you.
