Serious naturalists have flocked to the Zeiss 20x60 Stabilized binoculars. With good reason. This precision instrument offers unmatched optical excellence combined with an uncanny ability to stabilize an image at the push of a button. The result is one of the very best image-stabilized binoculars in the world. You'll get rock-steady images from this big Zeiss along with magnification that will leave you gasping!
Excellent for distant observation without leaving the trail or for spying on animals on the Savannah from a bouncing Jeep, these binoculars will show you anything you want to see, anywhere, anytime. They even operate on a Zeiss-exclusive stabilization that is not dependent on batteries or gyros!
And their images are truly oustanding. Crispness and clarity are startling, and brightness verges on brilliance.
Zeiss 20x60 S Image Stabilized Binoculars Feature:
Unique mechanics and optical performance
A superlative set of binoculars: for 20 x magnification observation without a tripod. The 20x60 T* S makes this possible due to its technically unique image stabilisation. The unavoidable tremble that makes freehand observation at this extreme magnification impossible is "switched off" at the touch of a button. As a result you experience the same high degree of detail resolution that you would expect from a tripod. Ideal for secure aiming at long-range game.
Extreme performance in magnification and lens diameter
The 20 x magnification provides an outstanding level of detail resolution. You can make out the finest of details when aiming at game and can be secure in your decision to take a shot. Extreme brightness is supplied by the 60 mm lens and Porro prism system.
High-performance optics
An elaborate lens construction with special glass gives a brilliant and razor-sharp image, even at 20x magnification. The high light transmission is guaranteed by low light Porro prisms and the elaborate Carl Zeiss T* coating. This enables you to make out details through to the very last of the light.
Image stabilization
The purely mechanical image stabilisation system with its gimbal-mounted spring joint and magnetic damping action works immediately at the touch of a button, noiselessly and without battery power. This results in a unique visual experience, such as you have never seen before - totally free of unavoidable hand tremor.
Robust mechanics
The image stabiliser is a mechanical masterpiece and naturally needs protection during harsh use, when idle or during transport. Secure, automatic locking of the moving parts when not in use and the solid, rubber armour of the metal casing serve to protect the internal optics and mechanics.

Comments about Zeiss 20x60mm Image Stabilized Binoculars:
My second pair of 20x60s. Use them for birding, stargazing, looking at ships and aircraft. Like every binocular it's a compromise, but me think these are a very special compromise. For me 2 eyes are better than 1 ;I don't like a scope, one eye and they keep me fixed in one spot. I want maximum hand holdable magnification. 20x for details 60mm objectives for light gathering. Zeiss did their homework with these. The stabilisation is excellent and without a lag time, and the optics are razor sharp.

Comments about Zeiss 20x60mm Image Stabilized Binoculars:
These must be the the world's most expensive hand held binoculars. I have owned these binoculars for 8 years and they are worth every penny. They are my favorite. I also own other high end binoculars. We have a view at our house. I pull these binoculars out everyday to get a closer look at something. That is the great thing about them, I actually use them. They do have a tripod mount but it is not necessary because they have image stabilization. Unlike other stabilized binoculars these need no battery. I also frequently use these to look at the moons of Jupiter. When we have guests over and they ask if I have a set of binoculars I love saying "sure" and then pulling these out. When I hand them over the reaction is everything you would expect.
