I use this pair of binocs for astronomy. @25 power the coathanger asterism fits perfectly. looking @ the dumbell nebula and andromeda was remarkable for binos. the dumbell was clear with really good contrast even compared with a scope of greater size. focusing was easy and stability for overhead I attached to my equatorial mount. Jupiter the moons were clear and even zoomed 125 power I could see the orange bands. did not have to collimate as one review had. I feel like these are definately a great investment especially for the money.[...] I will buy another pair for my wife in the future. do not hesitate. you will enjoy them. the only problem is they are just acromats so jupiter had a purple halo around it. I can deal with that if it is the only problem I encounter. very happy with this product.

Comments about Celestron SkyMaster 25-125x80mm Zoom Binoculars:
I read a lot of reviews before I purchased these binoculars. In fact I went to several websites just to read the reviews for this item. I was a little concerned about the negative ones. But since these had the specifications I was looking for I thought I would give them a try. I am perfectly satisfied. They work every bit as good as I had hoped. But you do need a solid tripod to use them to their greatest advantage.

Comments about Celestron SkyMaster 25-125x80mm Zoom Binoculars:
Definitely needs to be on a tripod or you can't see a thing. I was happy to see when they arrived that the lense is clear and not tinted as in the picture. Not top of the line quality but I didn't expect that for the price.

Comments about Celestron SkyMaster 25-125x80mm Zoom Binoculars:
Eyepiece pivot was cracked . Box was in perfect conduction, so it appears as if the binoculars were broken at the factory. I returned it immediately and replaced it with a Zhumell (also from Hayneedle).
