I will make an L shape and it T out on top of L to support the ends and move my screw hole to a more balanced position if people can grasp this.I seen no visible damage removing from a nice packaging. They feel good in my hands. Focus is OK and seem smooth for myself, the Diopter worked it's full +/- range. I will sew a few things on the case to hold things like caps and cloths and maybe the Tripod.I have not had time to see Planets, but with some sunglasses and my big camera Tripod the Moon was beautiful. When I bought for my Sailboat where I have excellent views to Bird, Star, Ocean Gaze and not been to the boat until this Fall when it cool. Hope I can have a story to tell on Planets.I am amazed at the quality:Price, I expected to get what I paid for and got more! Now I watching Telescope.com for a nice deal on 8x35.

        Q1: What adapter(s) can be used to mount these binoculars to a tripod?

        A: all that you need is just an L-mount binocular

        Q2: Do the Barska 15x70 binoculars come with any accessoryes, like a storage case, strap, lense caps?

        A: Yes actually tehy come with all three that you mentioned.

        Q3: Concerning the "Blackhawk 15 X 70" binoculars. Are the large lenses coated "Ruby or Blue"? Thank You

        A: the coating is a "blue" coating

        Q4: Did Barska redesign the 15 X 70 binoculars with BK-7 lenses? I thought they were originally made with BK-4s. Thanks.

        A: As far as i know they have always been made with the BK-7 prisms. To find out for sure, you may want to contact them directly at 866-565-5988. The only way that they come in now is with the BK-7's.

        Q5: What do these binoculars come with? neck strap? Case?

        A: Actually both Case and a strap as well as objective and lens covers.
