      Comments about Vortex Uni-Daptor Tripod Adapter:

      I'm really enjoying my Vortex Spitfires mounted on a monopod with the Vortex adapter. Provides excellent image stabilization as well as fatigue prevention/energy conservation (physically challenged here) yet easy to pan and follow the birds. The rig has transformed my viewing experience. QR is "drop-in / lift-out" which is very simple and convenient. The binocs are not locked in (and could fall out if tipped >90 degrees so I wear the neck strap when viewing and lift-out and wear them around neck when on the move. Not a problem...the convenience outweighs the risk if reasonable caution is taken. The adapter is small and does not get in the way when wearing or storing. An excellent product.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
