Used for glassing deer on distant hills sides. The adaptor holds the binos fine but the spacer works itself loose and I've already lost one. Also the screw is kinda flimsy. The aluminum bends easily with a slight bump and then it doesnt screw into the binos right. Glad I ordered two otherwise I would have been out of luck on my hunt. May be better to get a custom adapter.

I used this adapter on my Nikon binoculars and was disappointed by how sloppy and wobbly the binoculars were held. Went to hardware store, bought knob with properly threaded rod, and used Dremmel tool to cut back threads where they engage in the adapter and works great after my time and money spent fixing the device.

I use it on a tripod, but the bigest use is on a walking stick that has a threaded top to convert to a monopod.
