If yours don't, you can turn to the Nikon Binoc-U-mount. The Binoc-U-Mount is a universal tripod adapter that allows any binocular to be used with a standard tripod. The Nikon Binoc-U-Mount: It's even better than duct tape!

Comments about Nikon Binoc Binoculars U Mount:
This product was a great disappointment because it was too *small* to fit my Steiner 8x50 Military binoculars. Steiners have no adapter for tripod mounting, so this product was my only alternative. The velcro straps were about 6" too short to fit the Steiners. I was able to have a local shoe repair shop lengthen the straps so it would fit, but the result has been only marginally successful. To my knowledge, this is the only product of its kind. The intent is good, but the implementation is poor.
Comments about Nikon Binoc Binoculars U Mount:
The mount is made of leather with velcro straps. It works well with larger binoculars but does not form well around smaller models. It will hold the binoculars on a tripod but is not really stable. It is very well made but is rather expensive for what you get.

Q1: What height does this open up to? Would any Bushnell binocular fit? Would it need the Bushnell adaptor, or it the Nikon adaptor sufficient? Does the head pan and have vertical movement? Is there some sort of self-leveling or bubble-level system? How do the legs fasten in position? Thank you very much!
A: The Nikon Binoc-U-Mount will accept binoculars up to about 2.75 inches high. Binoculars of most brands will fit The Binoc-U-Mount is only an adaptor for securing binoculars on a tripod. It does not come with a tripod.
