Introducing the FAR-Sight...an elegant mounting and targeting system.

  • Compatible with Most Parallelogram Mounts or Tripod Heads
  • Comes with a Binocular Stud and Mounting Wrench

 

System Requirements:
The FAR-Sight is designed to work with most parallelogram mounts or tripod heads. Works best with porro-prism type binoculars, as well as many larger roof-prism binoculars, that have a standard 1/4-inch mounting hole on the hinge between the barrels. (The mounting hole may usually be found by unscrewing a cover at the end of the hinge between the objective barrels of the binoculars.) The top of the FAR-Sight bracket is compatible with most red-dot finders, used to aid in locating objects of interest. (red-dot finder not included)

 

SkyScout Option:

Use your binoculars with Celestron's Sky Scout or camera! Same as the FAR-Sight Standard Mounting System but includes the Sky Scout/Camera mounting screw as well as the standard binocular mounting screw.

SkyScout/Binoculars and Tripod mount not included - sorry!

      The Far-Sight Binoc Mount is a solid, integral part of my homemade parallelogram mount. The plastic tripod adapters are less than desirable...they swivel and loosen. I mounted my red-dot finder on the Far-Sight.

        The construction is strong. I use it with my 15x75 binocular which weights about 5 lbs. It greatly reduces the unwanted vibration, which makes viewing a much pleasant experience. A superior product compared to other binocular adapters I have owned. Highly recommend.

          This mount and target system is a real quality piece of equipment[...]The mount makes it easy to align your finder and your binos. No guess work find the target in the red dot finder,(not included) and it is in your binos eyepiece everytime. It is pretty expensive, but so superior to all the other mounts I have seen or used, makes it worth every penny. You could spend more or less but you can not find a better mount any where I know of. I can't think of any way better to mount your Big center mount binos and red dot system, with any commercially available product.This is a mount that will still be around for years and years, I don't see it ever wearing out. I know it will out last me. Just one more thing, the best mount in the world is no better then the tripod it is setting on, this mount adds more weight to the tripod head and so you have to use a strong tripod or it will be just another disapointment, but don't blame the mount, it is near perfect for the application. BUY ONE! If you are trying to decide if you want one, You can't go wrong if you are into big or giant binos.

            I bought the FAR-sight mount/tacking system for my 15 x 70 binos. It should make tracking the heavens easier having a 1 x 25 red/green dot sight for the binos mounted on the tripod.
