Vortex makes these tethered objective lens covers for the 42mm Razor binoculars, but they will also fit a variety of other binoculars. Measure the outside diameter of the barrel for your binocular, these tethered objective lens covers:


  • Fit an outside diameter of 48mm.
  • Come as a set of two covers.

These lens covers do fit the Vortex 42mm Viper, the Audubon 42mm Equinox HP, and the Stokes Birding Series 8x42 Broadwing.


CHOKING HAZARD - small parts may pose a risk to children under 6 yrs.

      I was looking for a good set of tethered lens covers for my new 10x42mm Leupold Wind River Cascades. After looking around at other manufacturers I decided on the Vortex lens covers due to the fact that these medium covers are made for objective lenses with an outside diameter of the barrel being 53mm. With the Wind River Cascades having an outside diameter of 52.6mm it's as close to perfect fit as you can get. They work great! Fit like a glove. Would absolutey buy another set if needed! If you have 10x42mm Leupold Cascades... these are the lens covers for you!

                Bought these for a pair Leupold Arcadia, older style without the texturing(Not the new BX-2). They fit perfect. 1000x better then the covers that come with the binos. Must have if you want to keep the glass clean.

                          Q1: I have a pair of Leupold 10x42 Acadia binoculars and looking for a pair of lens caps similar to item #SHL153. My question is will this product slip over the outside of my binos and allow me to use the flip down caps?

                          A: They are designed to flip down and dangle with viewing, you'll have to measure your O.D. of the objective lenses to make sure they will fit.
